Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was born January 5, 1928 in Larkana , presidency Bombay , British India , today Sindh , Pakistan April 4, 1979 in Rawalpindi was from 1971 to 1973 President and then until July 5, 1977 Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Bhutto was Minister of Trade and Foreign Affairs and then Minister of Defense (Western) of Pakistan in the Civil War against Bangladesh , the former East Pakistan. After defeat India in 1971 because of the Bangladeshi conflict , Bhutto became president and his Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) came to power in the 1972 elections.

With the entry into force of the new constitution on August 14, 1973 Bhutto took over the office of the fully- qualified Prime Minister.
On July 5, 1977 , after protests by the Muslim League and the Pakistan National Alliance (PNA), General Mohammed Zia ul-Haq was arrested for fraud by the commander-in-chief of the armed forces and dropped out of Bhutto. One of Bhutto’s major achievements is that Pakistan rose to nuclear power under his rule.
Three of his children died as he was a violent death: Murtaza Bhutto was killed in 1996 by police, Shahnawaz Bhutto died under unclear circumstances in exile in France (where his wife was acquitted after initial arrest on espionage suspicion of all suspicion, of parts of the Bhutto family but and his daughter Benazir Bhutto , twice head of government of Pakistan between 1988 and 1996, was the victim of an assassination attempt on 27 December 2007 after a campaign.
Bhutto was sentenced to death for alleged incitement to murder an opposition politician and hanged in Rawalpindi on April 4, 1979, despite international protests . His last words were: “Allah be merciful to me – I die innocent.”
