He was ambassador to the United States , then Prime Minister of Pakistan from April 17, 1953 to August 12, 1955 . Political career
Joining the Muslim League , Muhammad Ali Bogra is one of the artisans of the creation of Pakistan , a country intended to represent the Muslim populations of the Indian subcontinent . Within the party, he is responsible for the Bengal region .

Appointed Prime Minister on 17 April 1953 by Governor General Malik Ghulam Muhammad , he joined the draft constitution, and submitted a proposal to the Constituent Assembly providing for equal representation between West Pakistan and East Pakistan . While the process of adopting the text is still ongoing, the assembly is dissolved by the governor general. Ali Bogra is finally pushed to resignation by the new governor general Iskander Mirza on August 12, 1955 .

Finally, he serves as Minister of Affairs during the regime of Muhammad Ayub Khan ,13 juin 1962 until his death on 23 janvier 1963.
